Looks pretty durable. and the wiring harness is nice plus they give lots of wire so it should fit on any application you put it on and these should be super bright an small and should fit in tight spots and the Bluetooth. Function is awesome -from amazon
I've got a ton of lighting mods already installed on my 2016 Jeep Grand Cherokee Overland, interior accents, Grill mounted light bar, rear for lights, and more on the way (ditch lights, reverse LED strips, rock lights and whipless whip lights). I needed a way to tie everything together under the hood without running a spaghetti mess of wires into the cabin. The MICTUNING P4 switch panel should clean up everything nicely.
Bench Test Success Before Full Install.
Although I haven't mounted it yet, I plan to install the switch panel on the driver's side A-pillar for quick access. I ran a full bench test with several of the accessories I'll be wiring in, and everything worked flawlessly.
- RGB whipless whip lights powered on/off(red) with one button.
- Momentary mode (blue) cycles through the whip light colors smoothly.
- Ditch light and reverse LED strip worked great.
- Flash mode pulses evenly, matching my turn signal rhythm almost perfectly.
- Strobe mode delivers rapid bursts with a short pause.
The wiring hub is clearly labeled and easy to install. There's even a red indicator light that confirms proper connection, a nice touch for peace of mind.
Build Quality & Design
- Compact size makes the control panel easy to mount anywhere, dashboard, A-pillar, console.
- Buttons are tactile, color-coded, and backlit with a neon glow that looks awesome at night.
- Aluminum body feels solid, and the silicone buttons are satisfying to press with a nice click.
- Comes with multiple mounting brackets for both the fuse block and switch panel
- Includes a 60A circuit breaker (which I'll definitely use) and even a fancy little screwdriver...
I've got plans for 7 of the 8 buttons already and will find a use for the last one soon. The included power and ground cables are decent gauge, but I plan to upgrade slightly for my setup.
So Good I Bought a Second One.
My wife's 2019 Grand Cherokee Overland is getting a similar lighting overhaul, grill-mounted light bar, custom underglow, mini ditch lights, interior lights, and a set of reverse spotlights. Once mine is fully wired, I'll start on hers. This panel makes it easy to expand without cluttering the cabin or overloading the fuse box.
Final Verdict: I'm Not Easily Impressed, But This Kit Is Definitely Some Pro Grade Gear!
I originally planned on cutting out a section of my dash and mounting a bunch of rocker switches in an aluminum panel but that would have taken up a lot more room, destroyed my dash, and involved a ton of cabin wiring. Finding this panel made my day. Between the clean install, intuitive wiring, and slick backlit buttons, this switch panel is exactly what I needed. If you're serious about lighting mods and want a centralized control system that doesn't require a degree in electrical engineering, the MICTUNING P4 is a solid choice. -from amazon
Love them and the new app! I am not thrilled our other mictunning lights do not sinc up, one reason we bought the new whip lights was so everything would be on ONE app. Our rock lights and inside lights are only a year old so its a bummer esp since the new app allows more color customization.
I really like the quality weight and feel of these lights. I feel it was a pretty good deal on the amount, now I have a few extra. Pretty good light path put out by each one. Comes with pretty nice mounting screws -from amazon
