Bright and colorful
I have been installing custom lighting for vehicles for a few years now and I usually would recommmend a moderate priced rock light to my customers. But since Ive seen these and tried these I will always recommend MICtuning rock lights because they are affordable for the application. I love everything about them and how easy they are to install. They come with everything necessary for install. Personally these will make your truck or vehicle stand out from the rest because of the integrated circuit technology and I have been looking all over for these but they are always really expensive. Its a great product and you get every bang for your dollar -from amazon
My son and I searched a variety of rock light kits to install on his 2018 Chevy Colorado (with lift kit). Looking through the reviews was helpful, as people kept mentioning the durability of lights. This kit was a little more expensive than others, but is well worth the cost. The back housing of the lights are metal and the lens cover is a high quality plastic. Each light and cable appear to be well sealed from the elements. Each light also comes with a thick rubber spacer that helps with vibration once installed. Since this kit comes with 8 lights, we chose to install one in each wheel well , one under each front door, and one under each rear door. This provides a good distribution of the light when it shines on the ground. The most time consuming part was routing the wires back to the control module pig-tails. I used all existing pathways through the frame and did not have to drill any holes to route the wires. My biggest concern was finding a pathway through the firewall. To get the power/switch wire from the cab, to the battery, I pulled the rubber plug from the hole where the hood release cable comes through the firewall and fished the wire through. The lights in the wheel wells were installed with the screws, washers, and nuts that came with the kit. I used stainless self-tapping screws to mount the lights under the doors, directly into the bottom side of the body. I mounted the control box under the truck, directly beneath the driver's seat. This allows my son to change the lights with the enclosed remote or with the bluetooth app on his phone.
I have attached a few photos showing some of the colors and from different angles. -from amazon
Where do I start! Lol So full disclosure, the app is run on Magic Lantern. Which Mictuning does state in description app is not a Mictuning app. That's about the only negative I have. Magic Lantern is limited, and doesn't have a red/white/blue feature. My truck is American/military honors themed. But these things are BRIGHT!! I have the 3' COB LED whips, they have the great turn/brake/reverse function which is a big reason I bought them for my daily. They are very durable, and the LED chips are hidden which I love. Gives it that clean look. I have these hooked up to my Mictuning 12 gang wireless switch panel and they work like a dream. Definitely attention getter's, again my only wish is that Mictuning would have these paired with THEIR app. Would just be the cherry on top of this Sunday!
I installed 16 pack C2 lights on my Denali. Would have been better if you got extension wires with the kit had to buy more wires to get it to reach. Overall good product
