Switch Panel Wireless Series FAQ
Q1: Where should I put the antenna?
A1: Please put antenna on the right A pillar of the car, expose it to receive better signal. You may use the antenna sticker to secure it in place.
Q2: The Switch Panel won’t charge?
A2: Some phone chargers that use a Type-C to Type-C cable may not be able to charge the panel due to an internal recognition chip. Please try using a different charging cable.
Q3: How does a normal switch panel control 2 or more lights at the same time with one button?
A3: Connect the wires from both accessories to the same positive and negative outputs of the control box. Ensure that the accessories connected to a single circuit will not draw more power than the maximum for that control box circuit and the fuse for that circuit.
Q4: Can I connect negative wire to the common cathode?
A4: Yes.
Q5: The Control Box isn’t responding?
A5:
Step 1. Check the product to ensure it’s properly powered.
Step 2. Try re-pairing (refer to the pairing instructions).
If you still can’t control it, record a video and contact our customer support. We will quickly assist based on the video’s situation.
Q6: The Control Box has a black wire antenna. Can it be disconnected?
A6: It cannot be disconnected. It’s recommended to let the antenna extend outside the box for better communication range.
Q7: What is the maximum running current?
A7: The 8-gang switch panel is rated for 60A, and the 12-gang is 80A.
Q8: When connecting the battery, the power indicator is always on, will it cause battery loss?
A8: No. The standby current of this product is less than 3mA. A 60AH battery provides 833 days of standby power for the switch panel without charging it.
Q9: What is the function of the control box switch?
A9: The Control Box Switch provides two ways to obtain power: Connect ACC or Battery. It is suggested to obtain power from battery.
Q10: What is the typed of Add-a-Circuit Fuse Tap?
A10: Small fuse tap.
Q11: How do I know if the wiring is correct?
A11: If the power indicator is red on, it means the connection is correct.
Q12: Can I replace the fuses in the control box?
A: Yes, BUT always use a new fuse with the SAME or LOWER amperage as the old one. For instance, replace a 30A fuse with another 30A or less; to replace a 5A fuse, do NOT use a 10A fuse.
